We use only high quality renders (k-rendering monocouche) and one coat projection plaster that are suitable for all types of structures including houses, apartment blocks, offices, schools, hospitals and commercial buildings. In fact the choice is only limited by design and personal creativity. Whichever finish you select you can rely on A.U. Finishing System to provide a solution to fully meet your requirements.

The renders are designed to prevent the elements from penetrating the substrate by keeping the wall structure dry but retain vapour permeability. This allows the walls to breath and maintain a free passage for moisture to escape from the structure.

Resistance to cracking

Cementitious renders that are fully bonded to their substrate will not crack under normal conditions but if the substrate has not been designed to accommodate flexural movement any cracks that do occur are likely to reflect through the render. A.U. Finishing System has significant knowledge to offer to the designer, to assist in considerable reducing render cracking. Even when cracking has occured there are simple methods to repair such failures without affecting the render finish. The external insulated render systems offer the designer both environmental benefits and flexibility in design.

Texture and finish

Many architectural finishes are available providing the designer with numerous choices to meet the ever increasing demands of the client. Mixing both colour and texture provides many ways to enhance a design without the use of expensive stone features allowing limitless ways to blend ingenuity, originality and imagination.
